Absolutely not! Entering college undecided can provide many opportunities to learn about the majors your college offers. This course will help you get closer to discovering the right major for you, though.

If your field of interest does not provide a clear path, then yes, you must narrow your options. There are many careers that do not require a specific major! This is a great opportunity to find just the right major that fits your preferences in personality, interests and personal/work styles. Look at this "situation" as an exciting opportunity! In this course, we'll dive in to all of these topics to help you.

I have taught major and career exploration courses for 11 years; 23 times to be exact! I have tried many activities and resources with my students and have narrowed down my favorites to use in this course. These resources and activities have proven over and over to be critical in narrowing down options and either helping my students narrow down their options or actually declaring their major! I have supported hundreds of students in their exploration.
